Born from the same Universe & Omega Nebula
Celestial doesn't even begin to describe the beautiful ethereal creations hand drawn by Chloe from Luna and Her Stars.
As a young girl, her passion for artwork started to grow, exploring new styles and inspirations along the way. Chloe has now started up her own small business in early 2019 and boy, has it taken off!
From her stunning instagram overflowing with inspiration, works in progress and her love of Mother Nature, to her Etsy store filled to the brim with her pieces of art! There is no stopping this South Australian girlboss!!
RAW Australia's Adelaide event |
I was delighted to attend RAW Australia's Adelaide event where a variety of local artists were showcasing their work, from handmade jewelry and pottery to paintings and sketches. It was a wonderful evening spent browsing and chatting to several of South Australia's local artists.
In particular, I stopped by Luna and Her Stars to have a chat with resident girlboss and creative mind behind this otherworldly art, Chloe, about her business and inspiration behind some of her favorite pieces.

The motivation behind Luna and Her Stars obviously encompasses Chloe's love of the natural world, the earth, stars and beyond. Luna meaning "moon" in Latin and her passion for the stars shining through in her unique small business.
With the night sky as her muse and little pieces of nature she finds on her hikes, Chloe's drawings are nothing short of extraordinary.
Some of her favorite pieces including The Universe in her Hands, a piece inspired by female empowerment and the journey that has been made throughout society in way of acknowledging that women are powerful beings, capable of anything they set their heart and mind to.

Her second favorite piece she's created is Twin Souls, embodying the idea of empowerment, whether it be romantic empowerment in the sense of soulmates or that of females empowering one another. Following this idea of twin souls being the mother of the universe.

Many of her creations are often influenced by her meditations, the flow of the universe, the female movement, self love and self care. Chloe hopes her art to be seen as otherworldly yet calming to look at, with bright colours being minimal and sticking to a monochromatic colour scheme with a touch of burnt red/orange and gold. It's easy on the eyes, the designs are enchanting and very aesthetically pleasing.
Méduses dans l'eau |
One of my personal favorite pieces of her artwork - although let's face it, I love them all - is Meduses dans l'eau, a piece incorporating jellyfish in a beautiful sparkling sea of stars. The little detail I learnt about the story behind this piece truly shows just how much Chloe loves Mother Nature. The jellyfish she's drawn - impeccably well by the way, like I can't even draw a stick figure - are inspired by ones she saw when travelling in Osaka! She truly loves Mother Nature, all it's beauty and wilderness.
