Hi there,

I’m Jem, a 20 year old book and film nerd residing in beautiful South Australia.

Much like the notorious Rory Gilmore, I live my life in two worlds.

The first is a world split in two, half houses beautiful stores lined floor to ceiling with tales of Anna Oliphant’s travels to Paris, Lara Jean Song’s hopelessly romantic love life and the gripping uncovering’s of one Detective D.D. Warren. The other half is full of action, romance and hilarity, whether it be belting out The Winner Takes It All alongside Meryl Streep or dreaming of joining Uncle Jesse, Joey and Danny in their ever-growing house in San Francisco.

It's truly a world I couldn’t imagine not living in, but my second one is one I would not change for anything. The second is one where I spend my days drinking iced coffee, baking new goodies, re-watching 80s & 90s sitcoms

In addition to my many book and film recommendations, I’ll be hitting up and reviewing bookstores I visit on my travels, as well as attending events ranging from book launches and press releases to advanced movie screenings and panels at conventions.
